This advanced anatomy series is intended for the practicing Reflexologist, Reflexology Student and/or Foot Reader who is looking to take their practice to the next level though a deeper look at the body’s structure, function and dysfunction. Although this lesson isn’t technically intense, there is a wide range of information. All of the content is developed and presented by Dual-Nationally Certified Reflexologist and Foot Whisperer Sam Belyea, who will walk you through the ins and outs of this particular body system.
During this lesson you will learn:
1) Basic Skeletal System Anatomy
2) Basic Skeletal System Physiology
3) Ten Major Skeletal System Pathologies
4) The Areas of Emphasis for the Above Pathologies (Used During a Session)
5) How to Map the Reflexes of the Skeletal System on the Feet, Hands, Face and Ears
6) How the Skeletal System Affects Each of the Other Body Systems
7) A refresher of the boney landmarks of the Feet, Hands, Face and Ears
Although this is a smaller lesson, and excellent for pointed study, multiple lessons of this type will be released with each focusing on a particular body system. Stay tuned!
Belyea is the founder and program director for The Foot Whisperer
Reflexology Institute in Tampa, Florida. He started his journey by
pursing Physical Therapy, but became a Massage Therapist after
witnessing some sketchy happenings within the modern rehabilitation system. Sam chose
Reflexology as his specialty in 2010 and is now a Dual-Nationally
Certified Reflexologist through the American Reflexology Certification
Board in both Hand and Foot Reflexology.
Sam’s passion is teaching, interacting on social media and creating content like designing the institute’s Foot, Hand, Face and Ear Reflexology charts. Sam still sees Reflexology clients during the week both live at the institute and via remote consultations, but he devotes most of his time to writing, course creation and live lecturing.
Sam is also the author of the book that is taking the Reflexology industry by storm - Foot Reading: A Reflexology Primer on Foot Assessment.
“My mission is to spread the knowledge that I’ve learned so that others don’t have to go through the same mistakes I did while finding my niche in the bodywork world. I hope you’ll take this journey with me so I can make your road a little less bumpy.” ~ Sam
